First day at the beach and a new cousin

Sunday was another busy day. We went to the Capitola Begonia Festival with my brother and his family. It was Joey's first time at the beach and he loved the way the sand felt between his toes. After the beach, it was time to harvest corn in the garden. We then headed over to my Grandma's house to see my Cousin and her new baby boy, Brody who is 6 weeks old. Then back to my parents for a yummy dinner and my brother's home made ice cream.

I had to do some diaper laundry so we hung the covers in my parent's backyard...Umbrellas make a great clothesline

At the beach, we started off snug in the moby (notice the ever present spit bubble)

no babies were harmed in the taking of this picture...it only looks like Brody is punching Joey in the face ;)

I think they are trying to tell us they are done getting their picture taken!

Monday was just spent traveling but we did stop to see Grandma and Grandpa Simpson (and to pick up Toughy) so Joey got some good nap time with Grandma
