Leslie's sewing project

I have been taking sewing classes over the last year..I have always had an interest in textile arts (I have a BS from UCDavis in Textiles and Clothing) and have been enjoying exploring my inner seamstress. I just finished a class on historic costumes where I created a half-scale garment from the American Revolution. As a child, my mother would make incredible halloween costumes for my brother and me...I hope to do the same for our future children. Without further ado, here are pictures of my mini masterpiece:
